Across our two UK facilities we have a fleet of 25-500 tonne injection moulding machines. Broanmain Plastics delivers full scale production, from small technical batch work, compression and DST moulding to high-volume precision injection moulding, including larger parts requiring high strength and uniformity.
Injection Moulding
Injection moulding is our core business. We repeatably manufacture components with close tolerances in large quantities. Being able to mass-mould a variety of materials, most commonly thermoplastic polymers, also assists with sustainability and lightweighting.
Compression Moulding
Known also as thermosetting, compression moulding is the traditional forming method relying on heat and pressure to mould durable and dimensionally stable plastic materials. Often for safety applications. It’s how Broanmain started in 1956.
Tool Making
From initial briefing, where the Broanmain team works with closely alongside customers to pinpoint the feasibility of a new component, to rapid tool prototyping and coordinating multi-tool production and trials, Broanmain has managed in excess of 200 tool projects to-date.
